We’re on the hunt for an experienced Front End Developer with Back End capability, to help us bring CX solutions and initiatives to life for our clients. In this role, you’ll get to work across the full customer experience stack from backend solutions through to customer facing initiatives with some of Australia’s top retailers.
You will work closely with talented CX strategists, designers and developers, shaping new and innovative ideas into meaningful platforms. You will mentor and collaborate with other developers, and love taking a role in ensuring the robustness and sophistication of the delivered initiative.
Key Selection Criteria
Core Skills and Experience
Coding in PHP using the Laravel Framework
Front end experience with JS Frameworks (preferably React or Vue)
AWS especially RDS, S3, SQS, EB, EC2
React Native/Mobile Development
JS Tooling Webpack/Yarn/NPM/Gulp
Ajax Libraries such as Fetch/Axios/Sagas/Thunk
UX Insights, GA, FullStory, HotJar
Services and Backend (in order of importance)
PHP 7 & Laravel
Building and interacting with RESTful APIs
Shopify, SendGrid, Mailgun, Sparkpost, Mailchimp, Responsys, Campaign Monitor
AWS & GCP
Docker & Kubernetes
SQS, Queues, Redis, Workers, Caching
Strong communication skills
Good understanding and knowledge of UX and Customer Experience
Git/GitFlow and Pull Requests
Unit Testing/Testing Automation
Trello, Google Suite
